OVR toolkit

Launch after another VR application, and it allows you to embed/control windows within your VR headset.

Configuration

Autostart in SteamVR

- SteamVR > Settings:  # outside of VR
  - startup/shutdown tab:
     - OVR Toolkit: on

Rebind Keys

- OVR toolkit (2D window)
  - Settings
    - Keyboard/Joystick controls:
      - edit mode:    left windows  # bottom-left of right ergodox
      - menu visible: insert        # bottom-right of left ergodox

Usage

Keyboard Only (Simulator Mode)

F8     # toggle 'edit mode'
LCtrl  # hold for popup  window
  # choose spawn a window
  # you can then choose it's contents
  # you can move/resize at will

Workflows

- before starting game, launch:
  - windows terminal
  - qutebrowser
  - vlc
