Hackintosh: macos-10.9 mavericks
From wikinotes
There are 3 tools involved in the installation of OSX
- Chimaera - bootloader
- Unibeast - USB installation tool
- Multibeast - Drivers/install tool for Chimaera bootloader
OSX must be installed to a GUID managed partition. This means that OSX must format the drive (the entire drive), you cannot use the existing MBR managed partition that windows and linux use. You can format other sections of the hard drive afterwards, of course leaving the OSX partition intact.
the Unibeast bootable USB stick must be in a usb2.0 port mounted directly to the board. You cannot use usb3.0, or the usb2.0 ports on the front of your computer.
Unibeast USB creation
This creates your OSX install media.
