Plotting Jumps

blue lines indicate systems you can jump to directly,
with your ship's FSD drive, and current weight.

There are 3 styles of jumps exposed by the map filters:

  • economical routes (max 1kly) -- use if ship cannot jump far
  • fastest routes (max 20kly) -- use if ship can jump far
  • fastest routes w/ jet-cone boost -- you can orbit the a system's neutron star (if present) to get an extra boost in your FSD

You can obtain your min/current/max FSD distances while looking at your ship
in a dock with a shipyard. Note that fuel has a weight, your jump range extends as your fuel depletes.

Trade Data

Trade data lets you see export/import lines, and is valid for 24hrs.

To obtain trade data:

  • visit a dock in a system (automatic)
  • purchase trade data from the galaxy map

Once present configure your map view's dropdown with commodity.
Where trade routes are present, moving/coloured arcs will indicate an export/import trade line.

You can filter by economy (metals, minerals), or expand an economy and filter by product (aluminium, beryllium).
Make your selection using the ShowAll/Clear buttons or by dragging over the boxes.
