Install

Windows

Wired

- install driver
- click next until done

Wireless Access Point Connection

Printer connects to wireless router.
Printing accessible to devices on that router's network.

NOTE:

install prompts change if driver is already installed.
If already installed, choose 'Change connection method'

WARNING:

last 4 attempts, An error occurred while communicating with the printer while communicating over USB

- turn on printer
- connect printer via USB
- begin driver installation
    - welcome: next
    - type:
        - [x] wireless LAN connection
    - Select the wireless LAN connection method:
        - [x] Access Point Connection
    - Make sure printer is turned on:  next
    - Printers on Network List
        - [x] Setting printer could not be found on the list
        - Next
    - 1-1 Printer setup:    next
    - 2-1 Setup Procedure:  Wireless Setup using the USB cable

Direct Wireless Connection

Printer hosts it's own separate wifi network.
Printing requires disconnecting from wifi, connecting to printer, printing, and restoring regular wifi.

- turn on printer
- begin driver installation
    - choose setup wireless connection
    - next # ignore that printer not connected to network next
    - wireless setup using the usb cable

- start (search): ij network tool
    - settings > setup printer's wireless lan
        - (printer): hold 'wireless button' until 'power button' flashes twice'  # wireless should blink
        - click next
        - set password

- you should now be able to connect to printer's WIFI and print

Blinking Lights

yellow page-down/arrow-down:  ink is low

Maintenance

Clean Heads

Hold the page-down/arrow down button until power button flashes once. Heads should be cleaned

Print Test Page

Hold the page-down/arrow-down button until the power button flashes twice A test page should be printed.
