The Broadcast routing scheme sends one piece of information to all nodes on a network.

It is generally used to send the same message on all computers at once (ex: arp uses it to query all computers on a LAN). WiFi is also a broadcast transmission - every packet for a single computer is shouted from the wireless router, and it is accessible to all machines on the network.
