Macos: niresh
This is an unofficial macos distro, I believe built to be virtualized. It was not very stable, but it was useful as a bootstrapper to build real macOS install media.

This webpage REQUIRES CHROME, after a full minute a zipfile containing a torrent for the iso will be downloaded.
Install in Virtualbox
Create VM

rClick Mavericks:
- Settings > System > Uncheck Enable EFI

WARNING:
Niresh attempts to automatically install kexts, that break compatibility with virtualbox. Once you have created your disk, and you at the screen where you choose the disk you would like to install OSX onto, click CUSTOMIZE.
- uncheck Graphics > GraphicsEnabler=YES
- uncheck Install Network Drivers
WARNING:
Niresh doesn't appear to install a bootloader.
After installing your machine, make sure you manually mount your Mavericks.iso in virtualbox, and hit F12 to choose your install CD. From there you can choose your hard drive.
NOTE:
After installing niresh, you'll still need to install a bootloader. You can use the install ISO to get you off the ground.
